Regular Spirit Varnish 4/4 CERUTI CONCERT Violin - 'Feel the Grain!' Code B6712

Handmade - Superior Workmanship - Spirit Varnish Finish - Professional Setup - Exceptional Beauty - Superior Sound - Ready to Play

All CERUTI CONCERT violins are HANDMADE by the best luthiers in Gliga's workshop and finished by Italian luthier Ceruti. Each instrument is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, which confirms that the instrument meets all the design, manufacturing, finishing, and set up requirements that define the CERUTI level. The top of all Ceruti violins are processed with a special sanding technology that amplifies the texture of the wood, allowing the player to feel the grains of the wood when touching the top of the violins. The Ceruti violins are finished with a special formula of Italian spirit varnish, whose superior properties combined with the sanding technique allow the fibers of the wood to vibrate freely and produce powerful sounds, while ensuring an optimal wood protection.

The Ceruti Concert Violins are usually chosen by very adavanced students, adult amateurs who play the violin as a hobby, orchestra players, and anyone else who wants to own and play a fine violin.

A standard Ceruti violin is set up with Evah Pirazzi strings, a French Aubert bridge, and a standard tailpiece with one fine tuner. To change these settings, use the options at the top of the page. To select a case and a bow go to the top left menu and choose these items independently, or you can use these links for a 4/4 violin case and a 4/4 violin bow. All items will be shipped at once, in the same package.

The combination of woods that is used at the manufacturing of this violin is as follows:

- Solid Carpathian Resonance Spruce (Latin name: Picea Abies (L) Karst) - used for the top plate of the instrument, the bass bar, the blocks, the corner-blocks, the linings, and the sound post.

- Solid Carpathian Flamed Mountain Maple (Latin name: Acer Pseudoplatanus L.) - used for the back plate of the instruments, the neck, the scroll, the peg box, the ribs, and the bridge.

- Ebony (Latin name: Diospyros sp.) - used for the accessories: fingerboard, top nut, purfling, the saddle, and the end pin.

- Solid Carpathian Walnut - used for the accessories: pegs, chinrest, and tailpiece.
